Lofty and warm, the East Anglia Scarf features an all-over diamond pattern in two contrasting colors. This scarf is generously sized and gender neutral, so it will work well for any adult. It is knit in the round as a seamless tube for easy finishing. The stranded knitting and double thickness add extra warmth and coziness to the scarf. Tassels on each end give the East Anglia a finished look.

This pattern is sized for the average Adult, with a length of 70” (178 cm), not including tassels.

The gauge is 28 sts and 29 rows over 4” (10cm) in stranded Stockinette Stitch, blocked.

This is a beginner to intermediate level pattern. Knitters should have experience with stranded knitting technique and following color charts.

For this design I used Knit Picks Palette(100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 231 yards/50g). You will need 4 balls of MC (Green Tea Heather #24258), and 3 balls of C1 (Douglas Fir #26046). You can substitute any fingering weight yarn in two contrasting colors.

You will need a set of 16” or 24” (40 or 60 cm) circular needles in size US 4 (3.5 mm) or size to obtain gauge. You will also need a Size H (5.0mm) crochet hook to attach the tassels.

This pattern includes full color chart, written instructions, and notes on making tassels.
