I’ve had this pattern for a long time. It was one of my first designs. It’s perfect for a quick, warm gift. It’ll fit anyone from an older child through an adult. It’s easy peasy. You will need to cable an easy cable. It’s worked flat, then seamed up the back, gathered at the top and then the bottom is folded to make a brim.

You can turn these out by the dozens! I added a strand of Lang’s Mohair Luxe for a little bit of fuzzy softness. But it can be knitted using just one strand of a lofty bulky weight. I used size 11 needles.
