From the download pattern description:

"Knit from the top down in one piece, this classic raglan for adults and children features roll or cable neck. Yarn over increases at the raglan seams are a handsome detail. An ideal baby/toddler present, especially in Mountain Mohair."

  • Five children's sizes are offered.  The finished chest measurements range from 24 inches (61cm) to 32 inches (81.5cm).
  • Six adult sizes are offered.  The finished chest measurements range from 34 inches (86.5cm) to 54 inches (137cm).
  • A schematic provides other key measurements.
  • You will need both straight and circular needles to knit this pattern.
  • The sweater is knit in the round from the neck down.  Sleeve stitches are placed on a holder, underarm stitches are cast on and the body of the sweater is knit in the round to the bottom.  The sleeve stitches are then picked up and the sleeves are knit flat to the cuff and then seamed.
  • Alternative Green Mountain Spinnery yarns suggested are Double Twist  or 2-ply wool or Green Mountain Green.  Suggested quantities are given for all yarns.
  • An earlier leaflet version of this pattern may also exist.
  • According to the editor, this is an easy knit.
