Infinity scarves continue to be very ‘on trend’ and this one uses a simple 2 row repeat to create a large, crochet-effect openwork fabric. Edie is great for last minute gift knitting as it’s very quick to knit (in fact you could cast on now and have it finished this evening) and the version shown is knitted in the Mulberry shade of Jeanette Sloan Chunky Baby Alpaca. Wear it long or wrapped double around the neck for when you need to keep the Winter chills at bay.

Edie is also available as a knitting kit exclusively from the Jeanette Sloan website here

Needles:
One pair 5.5 mm (US 9)

Also needed:
5.5 mm crochet hook for cast on
Small amount of chunky waste yarn for cast on
(Optional) 5.5 mm circular needle

Error in the original version of the pattern
Row 3 should read: K2, p1, k3, sl next 3 sts dropping extra loops then pass all 3 sts back to left needle, (k1, p1, k1) into all 3 sts at once, k3, p1; rep from(asterisk) to last 2 sts, k2
