This pretty 1920’s-style cloche hat has lots of character, from its faux ribbon to the turned up back, complete with an optional bow. Monochromatic hand/kettle-dyes are perfect for getting a wool tweed look, but this hat would be stunning in a solid or semi-solid, as well. The ribbon only uses approx. 25m (30yds) of yarn, so it is a great way to use up some spare worsted, along with an irresistible new hand-dye that you couldn’t say no to! However, if you want to go with something special, and even more ribbon-like, try a worsted weight silk blend for the band.
