The Electric Granny Square Bag is a modern and funky spin on the traditional granny square. Each square is constructed using granny stripes and then seamed together to make a contrasting electric pattern. This is such a good stash-busting project as each color only uses approximately 120/195 meters of DK weight yarn. The strap is adjustable, so you can make it as wide or as long as you want. The pattern recommends using cotton yarn, but any DK weight yarn that meets the gauge will work.
