Since micro preemie babies are the same size as the doll, I always knit a couple of Elf on the Shelf-style hats for our NICU each year to make our own adorable little Elves on the Shelves in the NICU. (But we never wedge them into the family room curtain rods, of course, although if we did they would rock it!)
