You will love wearing this poncho/sweater made of squishy soft Cascade Yarns “128 Superwash”. This is a bulky superwash Merino wool. You’ll will need eight skeins of the light color, 2 skeins each of medium and dark shades. It’s fairly quick on 32” size US 11 (8mm) circular needles for the body. The collar and cuffs are knitted on with 16” size US 9 (5.5mm) circular needles.

The lace is attractive and adds a flair of sophistication to this loose fitting, comfy poncho. It is charted with full directions on how to read and use the chart included. There is shaping at the bottom front and back that uses a few short rows. Again, there are explicit directions for the short rows, including illustrations on picking up the wraps.

The poncho is closed with 1 3/4” buttons from JHB at the front and back. These are sewn in place; no buttonholes!

It’s been tried on by all different body types and so far has fit them all nicely!
