Elowen is a top down triangular shawl featuring an easy slip stitch color pattern and your choice of two different border treatments. Sizing for the shawl may be easily adjusted by altering the number of pattern repeats in each section.

This pattern contains both charted and written directions.

You will need 100 grams (approx. 300m) of fingering weight yarn for the main color and less for the contrasting color for the sizes shown. Check my project pages here and here for further guidance in yarn amounts. The pattern adjusts easily to other quantities of yarn.

The slip stitch pattern is easy to work and only involves working one color per row.

This shawl has a wonderful texture and for this reason I blocked it gently without wires or pins to preserve this texture.
