Elven or “the river” in Norwegian, is the perfect name for a hat which captures the simple grace of one of nature’s most powerful creations. There are two versions, one with small “boulders” and one without. Both patterns start with a gentle stream and gradually build into a larger river. Pattern one passes by small “boulders” as the stream builds towards the hat crown, while Pattern two omits the “boulders” and lets the river showcase itself.
