Emma Woodhouse is undoubtedly one of the most fun and interesting characters Jane Austen ever created. Yes, Emma has her faults, and she starts out a bit immature. But I love how her choices, though quite bad in many cases, take her on a journey that changes her forever…and leads her to the discovery of true love.

This beret was inspired by those worn in the 2009 film adaptation of the novel. I know it may not be historically accurate, but it fits Emma’s personality even so.

This pattern is part of the Knitting with Jane Collection by Annie Yarn.
