Dudes. This pattern is now available in the End of May eBook, paired with the award-winning End of May Hat! Niiiice.

The End of May Mittens were designed to match my End of May Hat. They feature a Big Flower on the back of the hand and a small allover diamond pattern on the palm.

The 2-page pattern provides two sizes, Medium and Large, that are achieved by adjusting gauge.

You will need 50 g each of two contrasting colors of yarn and a small amount (about 15 g) of soft, sport weight yarn for the lining.

Notions: stitch markers (3), darning needle, 12” (30 cm) length of scrap yarn for holding stitches.

The pattern is charted for ease in knitting.

If you are also knitting the End of May Hat, please note that for most knitters one full skein of each color of Ultra Alpaca is enough to knit both the hat and mittens.

These mittens can be knit quickly and the end result is especially warm, cozy, and I might add, pretty.
