Needles

Size 10½ (6.5 mm) 16” circular (cir) and set of double pointed (dpns) and Size 8 (5.0 mm) 16” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notes
This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. On Rounds 1, 3, 5, 25, 27, 29, and 37 of chart, marker will move one stitch as follows — at the end of the rnd, remove marker, knit single stitch as shown on chart, replace marker and pattern to end. Note -- Hat shown in Fondant uses a Garter rib in place of the 1x1 Rib listed — add “Rnd 2 Knit. Rep Rnds 1-2 for pattern.” to 1x1 Rib instructions to get Garter rib.
