Especially for spring
Happy spring! We’re all hanging out at home these days, working on a variety of interests, as we patiently wait for this virus to hit the road. Here’s a simple knit to work on as we binge watch Knitflix and/or listen to audio books. It’s called Especially for spring and it’s especially for you! The sample is knit with a soft, tape yarn.
Feel free to change the length of the cowl by adjusting the number of cast on stitches. You may even make two short cowls out of one skein by casting on half the stitches! You get the idea!
It is approximately 5 ½“deep x 62” in circumference after wet blocking.
Gauge: approximately 3 sts./in. The gauge is not critical. The cowl will stretch as it is worn.

Materials
One skein of Louisa Harding Yarns, Lirico. 262 yards (100 grams) Worsted Weight yarn, cotton/acrylic blend. The sample is color #107.
Size 9 circular needles 24 ” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needles.

I’ve included some spring flowers for my gardens last year, because don’t we all need to see beautiful flowers on this first day of spring? Enjoy!
