Esse is a delicate triangular shawlette / kerchief with long tapering and skinny ends that can be worn in so many ways. It is worked in a beautiful all-over cables and lace pattern. I have had such a shawl project in my mind for ages now that it feels wonderful to be able to turn it into reality.
The word esse means just that : that something exists and has a physical form or is not imaginary or fictional. I decided to call this design Esse to acknowledge and admire the fact that something merely in our imagination can be given form and existence through this fabulous craft of knitting.
