Etty’s Sister is a cosy and warm sweater with a high boatneck and slightly bloused sleeves at the cuffs. A winter version of its sister-pattern Etty.

Etty’s Sister is knit top-down, in the round. The set-in sleeves are knit together with the bodice. The sweater is knit in stockinette and with colour blocks.

The upper part is knit with one strand of Isager Highland Wool together with one strand of Isager Silk Mohair. This gives softness closest to your face and neck.
The rest of the sweater is knit with two strands of Isager Highland Wool.

Note
Using needle size 4.5mm (US7) and knitting with two two strands of Highland Wool makes the texture feel more airy and more like dk-weight but the gauge is of worsted weight, i.e. 20sts in 10cm/4in.
Knitting with one strand of Silk Mohair (lace) + one strand of Highland Wool makes is dk-weight with the same gauge 20sts in 10cm/4in, using 4.5mm (US7).

Bust measurements the actual sweater incl. with ca 10cm/4in of positive ease:
XS (S, M, L): 92(96, 102, 108)cm/36(38, 40, 42.5)in

Yardage:
Isager Strik Highland Wool (275m/50gr), knitting with 2 strands held together.
Isager Silk Mohair Lace Weight (212m/25gr).

Colour 1/ Highland Wool (Rose): 1(1, 1, 2)skeins + Silk Mohair (0): 1(1, 2, 2)skeins
Colour 2/Highland Wool (Wine): 3(3, 4, 5)skeins
Colour 3/Highland Wool (Chili): 3(4, 4, 5) skeins

Or, you can choose a yarn that knits upp to gauge with one strand.
