notes
Right leg of shawl is cast on all at once. The triangular shape is created by regular decreases along the left edge as you knit (long edge when shawl is finished). Work in lace pattern at cast on edge, then continue in stockinette maintaining lace pattern along left leg section as you work to the tapered end.
Circular needle is used to accommodate a large number of stitches.

skills required
long-tail cast on, increasing, decreasing.
charts and line-by-line instructions included.
