I wanted to make a fun and flexible Christmas hat where you could choose your own motifs and really make it your own. I chose some larger motifs, added some smaller ones, and some divider motifs to give you some flexibility with adjusting the depth/length of your hat. Motifs are in multiples of 8 to ease the decreasing.
This is an adult size hat, but you could adjust it after getting your gauge--just be sure your total stitch count stays in multiples of 8.
You’ll need 1 skein each of 3 colors. I chose Brown Sheep Naturespun in fingering weight in N24 (evergreen), N64F (red fox) and 740F (snow). You will not use a full skein of any of these, probably less than 1/3-1/2 skein of each.
