The Fair Winds and Following Seas Beanie was first designed in 2014 for Hats for Sailors, a group of knitters and crocheters that provide hats for men and women in the US Navy, one ship at a time.

This beanie has been re-designed to include a longer brim, an extra repeat to make it a bit longer, and an added pom-pom. Which of course, can be omitted. This pattern equips you with detailed written instructions, a stitch glossary, and a way to spend the evening binge-watching your favorite Netflix show.
