Fàite-gàire, Scottish-gaelic, a happy face expression using the mouth;
but without producing voice. This is what these socks do for me, they just make me smile, A fun pair of slip-stitched socks, worked from toe-up. Quick to knit, with or without the beads. A great gift for a special someone, or a special pair to keep for yourself.

A fun toe-up design with ribbing that starts with the short rows of the heel & continues up the back of the leg. Front is worked in slipped sts & beads, leaning opposite or the same directions. Knitter’s choice.

The cuff then turns back the other direction, keeping the fun going, while the back of the cuff continues in the ribbing.

When working just the one time thru leg chart you will need 60 ~ 6/0 beads. More if you want a longer leg on your sock.
