I used the detached chain stitch, or lazy daisy stitch, on her leg to make the flowers and french knots for the end of the eyelashes, and this time I just embroidered the hair on without making hair in my usual way. She really didn’t take that long to make, and I do like her more now that I’m done with her. I’ve named her another family name, and I tend to try to look for names that have a bit of assonance with the rest of the title of the doll.
