Using only one 100g hank of hand-painted fingering weight yarn, this scarf is slightly crescent shaped so that the widest portion of the scarf is around your neck. The linked half double crochet stitches show off the flashes of color beautifully, while also providing a lovely surface texture.

A beautiful scalloped edging is worked along one side of the scarf as you go. The pattern includes directions for working a matching edging along the opposite side after the scarf is finished, as well as directions for other edging variations.

The scarf is still lovely without any of the optional edgings, and is a great way to show off your souvenir sock yarn.
