Fallberry ~ a pleated sweater dress for American Girl Dolls & alike, featuring a flattering pleated skirt welt and classic raglan color-block sleeves for a look that is suitable for fall activities or even worked for a stylish back to school-wear. Written instructions include back button closure for ease of dressing

Fall, my favorite and most inspirational time of the year prompted me to work another favorite pattern that is featured for the slim dolls in Kalendar Kidz publication ~ this version designed to fit the American Girl dolls

Also fits slim Gotz Hannah dolls if choosing to work with fine DK yarn, simply work with smaller sized needles to get gauge as showcased by Jacknitss twin project

’Fallberry’ an American Girl Doll version of Windermere Sweater Dress

Pattern Features: Formatted with written out line-by-line instructions given throughout along with back button closure for ease of dressing. Color-block sleeves worked for a stylish look with classic raglan setting. Sweater dress welt features a pleated ribbing with simple color-work stripes, shaped for main body worked in classic stockinette stitch which features further color-work stripes at raglan shaping

Construction: Worked flat; back and forth in rows. Pattern begins with sleeves worked first from cuffs to armholes that are later joined to main body, (worked from bottom in one piece to armholes) for raglan shaping then worked together in one piece to mock turtle-neckline, includes back button closure with buttonhole placement. Sleeves and dress welt seamed at completion

Skill Level: Easy - Intermediate ~ Project uses simple color changes and minimal shaping and finishing
