Sweet woodsmoke billows from old brick buildings, stolen quickly from the chimney caps in the oceanside town. Snowdrifts cozy up to buildings at odd angles, forced into submission by the biting winter winds. Salt worn shop signs swing on their hinges as the ocean across the street slams itself against the jagged rock of the coast. A lone bell jingles on the door of the coffee shop, following a blast of warm air. .On days when sleet and snow take turns blanketing the ground, and the clouds hang low over the earth, a cozy beanie is a must.

Hat is worked from the bottom up, in the round seamlessly. Stitch pattern is both charted and written.
