Inspired by the subtle variations of colour in the yarn, this design uses cleverly placed slipped stitches to bring out the different colour tones.

The corded rib brim flows into a textured pattern that has a braided appearance before developing into a ribbed crown for a snug fit. The beanie style hat is worked in the round from the brim up.

The pattern is provided with written instructions and charts for both the corded rib and braid patterns.
