I created the Faux-crame Propagation Station as a more decorative alternative to all the glass jars sitting around my house with various plant clippings in them. I chose Oui jars as my containers because I can never seem to toss them in my recycling bin so i always have some around, but if you don’t have any of these containers and don’t want to buy some yogurt (I recommend their Dairy-free vanilla,) you can use quarter pint jelly jars instead.

I love Zooey for this project, it is strong, easy to work with, and gives the project a slightly rustic look.

Materials:
-10mm wood beads with 2mm holes (1 per hanging section)
-Floss threader or 2mm crochet hook for adding the beads
-Tapestry Needle for weaving in the ends
-1-3 Oui yogurt or quarter pint jelly jars (1 for single, 3 for triple)
-5/16” dowel rod cut to size (6” for single, 15” for triple)

The pattern is worked from the bottom up with the bottom section worked in the round and the top section worked flat.

The triple hanger is made by working three sections- two short hanger sections and 1 long hanger section.

The single hanger is made by working a single short section.
