Lamb’s Pride worsted weight 85% wool and 15% mohair is a wonderful yarn to use to make soft and warm winter hats. This hat pattern includes instructions for knitting and felting a flat brim hat with Lamb’s Pride worsted weight yarn. This pattern also includes information on felting hats and measurements for making a twisted cord to decorate your hat. You can make some amazingly beautiful hats by combining different colors of yarns.

Materials:
U. S. Size 11 24-inch circular needles and dpns
Approximately 7.5 ounces of Lamb’s Pride worsted weight. You will need two 4 ounce skeins which is enough to make the hat and two twisted cords.
1 stitch marker
Each twisted cord takes 20 yards of yarn.
This pattern is written specifically for Lamb’s Pride worsted weight. Lamb’s Pride gives a nice halo making a furry and soft hat. It felts differently than 100% wools so adjustments have been made to this pattern that are different from my 100% wool patterns. If you want to use 100% wool, please purchase my other pattern published on Raverly.

Measurements: The hat is knitted in one size fits many teens/adults. The drying form that you use will determine the finished size of your hat.

Gauge: Unfelted: approximately 12 to 14 stitches to 4 inches.
