I used Cascade Fiesta, because that’s what I had available, but the yarn name has since been changed to Copa, so you may use either.

Since this is felted, the gauge is not critical. My basket ended up measuring approximately 5.5” tall x 5.5” in diameter at the base, widening to 7.5” at the top.
