A knit & felt pattern design.

Knit, felt and then embellish a woolly bird to look like a robin, cardinal or chickadee.

The birds measure, after felting, about 3-1/2 inches wide by 4-1/2 inches high. The pattern is designed to create your own bird!

It uses worsted weight yarn and size 10.5 double points. Want to make it into an ornament? Knit the same pattern but use either sport or fingering weight yarns in same color schemes. For sport weight yarns, use size 7 dps, and for the fingering, size 4.
