This set in fine yarn is delicate yet snug and warm, and it’s seamless since it’s worked in the round. Options for a smaller or larger set are included (be aware the larger sizes will take more yarn).

Sock yarn is quite stretchy, so if you substitute another type of fingering weight yarn, make sure it’s also stretchy so that you get a good fit.

Both hat and mitts are worked in the round from the bottom up; mitts have a built in thumb gusset. Smaller mitts will fit most hands. Hat can be made longer or shorter (or in-betweeen!), and the ribbing at the bottom has quite a bit of stretch for various sizes. More details are given in the pattern.

Two of the models are made in self-striping yarn and the other in a solid so you can see the variations. If you’re making it “scrappy,” you can change colors as you wish--experiment! :)
