The Feuilles de Vert socks use a simple lace motif to create the appearance of a thick canopy of leaves tapering to a point on the heel flap and beginning of the instep. There is also a small lace leaf at the toe of the sock for a little something special. The pattern is written as a top down sock.

The sock is sized in a women’s small, medium, and large. The sample is knit in the medium size using Indigo Moon Fingering Weight Merino (http://www.indigomoonyarns.com). The rich green tone enhances the texture of the finished sock.

Level: Intermediate -- the lace motif itself is not difficult, but there are 4 different charts to follow for each size.

Any patterns downloaded prior to 9/6/2009 are missing information about shifting the beginning of the round on certain rows. The corrected text follows. Please contact me at nuttycreationsdesigns@gmail.com if you have purchased the pattern and would like a corrected version.

The first paragraph should end: Knit the first stitch on needle 1 onto needle 3 to shift the beginning of the round by one stitch.

The second paragraph should end: At the end of rounds 2, 4, and 12 (2, 4, 6, and 16; 2, 4, 6, 8, and 20), knit the first stitch on needle 1 onto needle 3 to shift the beginning of the round by one stitch.

My sincere apologies.
