An ideal weekend project for beginner knitters onwards, these Fingerless Mitts are not just for winter. Wear them on chillier summer evenings at festivals, at barbecues, whilst camping or walking your dog. The possibilities are probably not endless but there are many more I’m sure.

Using only 50g of a double knit yarn of your choice, they are a worked in stocking stitch with a moss stitch (seed stitch) border at the wrist and ‘fingers’. They are worked backwards and forwards in rows and when finished there is one seam to sew.

Why not knit a pair for yourself and as a gift for someone you treasure.

Happy knitting.
