Four sizes of fingerless gloves/mitts to fit a hand circumference of 12.5 (15, 17.5, 20) cm or 5 (6, 7, 8) inches - circumference is measured around the widest part of the hand at the base of the fingers.

These mitts are made using a quite unusual mitred method, the mitt and thumb are worked in one piece, with the cuffs added later.

The mitts are very plain in design, leaving the way open for lots of trims and embellishments to personalise.

Length of cuff may be adjusted for a slouch finish - the pattern also makes a good base for experimenting with your own style of cuffs.

YOU WILL NEED 100 m DK (light WW) yarn, 3.50 mm hook, two stitch markers and a needle for neatening ends.

The pattern is fully tested.

The pattern is available in both US and UK terms.
