Knit in the round with steeks for armholes.

Four sizes designed for children ages 6-12. Actual finished Chest measurements 33.75 - 41 inches indicate that the sweater is meant to be oversized as was the fashion when the pattern was published. Keep this in mind when choosing a size.

A schematic is provided along with charts for the colorwork

Three colors are used. You will need 8,9,10,11 skeins of the main color; 2,3,3,3 skeins of a second color and 1 skein of an accent color.

24-29 inch circular needles in both sizes (or as needed to get gauge) and appropriate needles in the smaller size for your preferred method of knitting smaller tubes are needed.
