I love braiding my hair, I never had long hair as a child and now I’m more than making up for it. This cable reminds me of a fish bone braid, strings of hair, rope or yarn repeatedly crossing over each other.

Fish Bone Braid is a crescent-shaped shawl with cables and lace. It requires 400-700 meters of fingering to DK weight yarn. Use needle size that gives you a nice lacy effect. The shawl can be enlarged by adding additional repeats. The pattern is charted.
