The Fisherman’s Rib Pullover.

A classic, textured, cozy pullover. This classic sweater is easily dressed up put over a collared blouse, or dressed down put over a tank-top or flannel.

Design features include ribbed edging, collar, and cuffs. Sweater is designed to sit at belt level with the sleeves sitting above wrists.

Sizes include adult female small, medium, and large (32-42” bust range). Pattern includes notes for you to customize lengths. (Pictured on 5’ 4” model with 35” bust),

Unique ribbing texture creates a positive ease for comfort and practicality. Cotton or cotton blend yarn is recommended as the stitch causes the garment to stretch with wear. A wash and warm dry in dryer will shrink garment back to “cropped” look if desired. If different material yarn is used, shrinking will not be an option when stretching occurs.

Difficulty level: Intermediate. Note: one of my testers made this as her first ever knit sweater. Pattern includes many details for an advanced beginner to take on this project as long as they are up to learning new techniques!

You will need to know how to: Long-tail Cast On, Knit, Purl, Knit one below (K1B), Stretchy bind-off, Pic up stitches around neckline for collar. For seaming, I used a variation of the mattress stitch as it is a stretchy seaming method, but you can use any garment seaming technique desired.

Video tutorials are linked to certain techniques used for your convenience.
