Simple and effective, this shawl has a delicate central lace panel and garter stitch outer panels. Worked from the bottom up, optional beads are added to the lace central panel. They add weight and sparkle to the shawl.

Needles & Notions
US #8/5mm circular needle 32”/80 cm or longer for cast-on only
Small: US #7/4.5mm circular needle 48”/120 cm or longer
Large: US #6/4mm circular needle 48”/120 cm or longer
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, size 13/.85mm crochet hook for beads, approx 210 (340) beads size 6/0.

GAUGE
Small Shawl:
16 sts / 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Garter Stitch with smaller needle blocked
Large shawl: 22 sts/40 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch with larger needle blocked
