This is the perfect hat for “kids” of all ages. Ear flaps keep you nice in warm in the cold months to come, remember, Winter is Coming.

Pattern is suitable for any aran weight yarn. The sample is knit with 1 ball of Katia Azteca Milrayes yarn which comes in terrific variegated colorways. Hat knit in color #706. There is enough yarn leftover to make a pom-pom.

Sizes based on head circumference with negative ease for a snug fit: Infant 15” (small child 17”, child 19”, teen or small woman 21”, large adult 23”).

Materials: 65 (75, 85, 100, 125) yards of heavy worsted/aran weight yarn (4 - 4.5 sts/1”), #8-16” circular needles (or size to get gauge), #8 double pointed needles, stitch markers, locking stitch marker or safety pin, and tapestry needle.
