When my sister announced that she is pregnant with her first child (and my first nephew - so excited!), I decided that her annual sweater would this year be a cardigan, to allow for her growing belly.

Flea is the nickname I have given to the baby, as at her first ultrasound it wiggled around like she used to when she was a kid and crawled into my bed - Flea was originally her nickname.

The cardigan is started with the bottom cable band. Stitches are then picked up along the edge and the cardigan is worked in one piece to the armholes. Sleeves are worked from the top down in the round.
