Very feminine and versatile hat. You can knit it in worsted merino with a strand of mohair, that will give it lovely watercolor effect. It will also look sophisticated if you use pure wool or tweed yarn. Feel free to experiment - make it truly yours!

MATERIALS

Needles:**
4mm/US 6 circular needles 16” or DPNs for ribbed hem
5mm/US 8 circular needles 16” for body and DPNs for crown
OR SIZE TO OBTAIN THE GAUGE
You can use 40” circulars and magic loop method, if you prefer.

Yarn suggestions:
If you want to get a watercolor effect, you will need:
Light worsted yarn, about 115yards (125m) per 50gr, 1 skein, i.e. Lana Gatto Super Soft (white color), AND Fingering mohair yarn, 210 yards (210m) per 25gr ball,1 skein, i.e. Rowan Kidsilk Haze (knit holding one strand of both yarns together);
OR any heavy worsted weight yarn, about 141 yards (155 m) per 100gr, 100gr total;
GAUGE IS CRUCIAL

Gauge:

NOTES: the hat is designed in one size and is knitted from hem to crown.
