These little shortie socks are knitted cuff-down, with a heel flap and adorned with a super easy to make feather and fan stitch pattern.

UPDATE: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the neighborhood I work at is being hit hard. Our women come to the house looking for shelter and food and they’ve been overwhelmed by the demand, so I am re-starting this fundraiser and all sales derived from this pattern will be donated to this community kitchen to perpetuity.
As of April 16, $2400 have been raised after the initial goal was achieved in December. THANK YOU!

DEC 25 - Our fundraising goal has been achieved. Thank you so much for your generosity. I am humbled and so grateful!

They are named after a neighborhood in Buenos Aires where I teach knitting at a women’s community house. The initial profits from this pattern will be donated to this group to fund the elements necessary to build a community kitchen.
The goal is to raise $1500 for a fridge, kneading table and electric oven, so all profits from this pattern will be donated to La Casa de la Mujer until we reach this goal.
Thank you for helping us!
