Florescence Cardigan is your classic everyday cardigan, made dainty by growing lace leaves on the sleeves. The soft V opening, the straight line, the top-down raglan construction, the ribbing bands worked while knitting and the option of adding buttons or not are efficiently creating a basic cardigan that is the perfect canvas to showcase the sophisticated lace sleeves. These sleeves are sure to impress while being easier to knit than what they look like, even if you don’t have a green thumb! The cardigan, made in DK+lace or worsted weight, is available in 12 sizes and can be made as long as desired.

If using two yarns held together, note that the indicated yardage is required for each of them.

Yardage can vary according to the length you want to knit. The indicated yardage is for a cardigan hitting at the hips. Plan for more yardage if you want to make a longer cardigan.

Gauge
19 sts x 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch and lace pattern, after blocking

Gauge can slightly vary on the sleeves as they can be made as long as you want. Please note that the lace will grow significantly with blocking.

About the prototype
Prototype is a size 3 worn with approx. 5” (13 cm) inches of ease. It was made using The Yarn Collective Bloomsbury DK (colorway: Sand) held together with Berroco Aerial Color (colorway: Monet).

Le cardigan Florescence est un vêtement classique pour tous les jours, doté d’une grande élégance grâce au feuillage qui pousse sur ses manches. La douce encolure en V, la coupe droite, l’emmanchure raglan tricotée de haut en bas, les bandes de côtes tricotées en même temps que le corps, et l’option d’ajouter des boutons contribuent à créer un cardigan de base qui met efficacement en valeur les manches en dentelle sophistiquée. Ces manches d’allure complexe sont plus faciles à tricoter qu’elles ne le laissent croire, même si vous n’avez pas le pouce vert! Le cardigan, fait en fils de grosseur léger + dentelle ou moyen, est disponible en 12 tailles et peut être tricoté à la longueur voulue.

Le métrage peut varier selon la longueur du cardigan. Le métrage indiqué permet de tricoter un cardigan long jusqu’aux hanches. Veuillez prévoir plus de laine si vous désirez obtenir un cardigan plus long.

19 m. x 30 rangs = 10 cm (4”) en jersey et dentelle, après le blocage

L’échantillon de la dentelle peut différer légèrement puisque les manches peuvent être tricotées à la longueur voulue. Veuillez noter que les manches s’allongeront significativement lors du blocage.
