I always have such a hard time finding a mitten knitting pattern small enough for my small hands, so I decided to design one for myself! I added some flower decorations to add a bit of spring to the cold winter days!

You can easily customize your mittens to your personal taste by adding stripes and changing the number and arrangement of the flowers, have fun!!

These mittens are made using a worsted weight yarn, three of the samples are made using Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, and the Burgundy mittens are made with Loops & Threads Somerset. The flower motifs can be completed with a contrasting yarn of any weight.

Materials:

  • Main Colour - approx. 50gms worsted weight yarn
  • Small amount contrasting yarns of any weight
  • Two 3.00mm & two 3.75mm straight needles
  • Set of two 3mm double pointed needles
  • Buttons and/or beads (optional)
  • Darning needle

P - Purl
St - Stitch
K2tog - Knit 2 together
K2togtbl - Knit 2 together through back loop
Inc - Increase
St St - Stocking Stitch
