Sweet and simple to make, the butterflies work up easy and look great in nearly any color combo. Make several to dress up a boring/empty corner of your home. You could try making them with plarn to hang from a tree outside :)

Finished size varies depending on yarn used, but red hart works up to around six inches high and roughly the same for the wing span

If making for a child it is best to sew with yarn, it provides a better hold and is less likely to pop a seam.
