“Fly me to the moon
let me play among the stars
let me see what spring is like
on a-jupiter and mars
in other words, hold my hand
in other words, baby, kiss me”

And, since you’re going to do all that, FlyAway Hoodie is the perfect cardigan to do it in :)
It’s a seamless, top-down design, with small elongated cables running down the upper fronts and back, down to the waist, followed by the body in stockinette stitch forming an A-line shape and set-in sleeves worked in the round from the top down.
It has pockets that make it perfect for every day wear, for example to store your keys, your kid’s pacifier or the small toy he or she can’t leave the house without… and maybe that small purse you can fit anywhere and always keep handy.
The pattern provides detailed instructions for every size from 30 to 58. The details in this cardi: namely cables, pockets, a textured band, the hood itself, keep the knitting process interesting and challenging, without being too difficult.
As the icing on the cake there is the fun in finding the perfect buttons! The ones used for the prototype can be found here:
