This beanie/skull cap design is inspired by the Fracture motif pattern in Andrea Rangel’s Alterknit Stitch Dictionary, which is which is available in bookstores and libraries. With permission from Andrea, the author of the Alterknit Stitch Dictionary, the motif pattern has been incorporated into the pattern. The Fracture motif pattern is found on page 27 of the book.

The pattern calls for two skeins of Cascade 220 worsted yarn. The cap requires enough yarn in two colors to create a cap that is approximately 50g with stranded knitting.
