I perfected this pattern as I was finishing up my masters thesis and also while riding on the Disneyland Railroad bi-weekly with my 2 year old daughter.

So you can see it’s simple enough to knit while keeping a little kid from jumping off a moving train and keeps you sane while you’re so stressed that all you want to do is eat 100 Cheese Pizzas and wash it down with gallons of iced tea. And by iced tea I mean sweet, sweet beer.

Fickleknitter claims no responsibility for the knitters consumption of 100 Pizzas but guarantees extreme self satisfaction when dropping the stitches in the Fragment Scarf.

This pattern knits up fast and is perfect for small amounts of lace yarn (approx. 150-200 yards). The elements of the pattern include dropping stitches and a 3 needle bind off. No children were harmed during the writing of this pattern.

Description A simple lace drop stitch scarf knit in two pieces. A three needle bind off is used.
