The cowl is worked sideways in the round. Starting with a provisional cast on it is structured into a colorwork element and the body, knit in one color only.
The cowl has a slightly funnel shaping, which is achieved by adding short rows at the body.
At the end the live stitches are joined to the provisional cast on stitches using the Kitchener stitch technique.
