A top down beanie with FPDCs to make ridges and bobbles on the bottom edge. Horns and braids are made and sewn on separately. This Viking Helmet is designed with braids, but links to a pattern for a beard if so desired.

There are adjustments for child and infant sized helmets at the beginning of the instructions.

You will also need Polyfil to stuff the horns.

The pattern uses 3 different colored Red Heart yarn for the helmet (Country Blue, Coffee and Buff) and one color of Caron Simply Soft for the braids (Mango).
