This is the fastest, easiest, infinity scarf pattern. With one simple row to memorize, you can put down the pattern and stitch away while doing other things, like watching TV or talking with a friend. The double crochet makes the scarf work up quickly, so you don’t have to wait months to finish. Use a solid color or a self-striping yarn for a more colorful look. Best of all, you can easily customize the pattern to make the scarf longer or shorter, wider or thinner, as well as change the length of the fringes.

Skill Level: Easy/Beginner
Finished size: 4” wide (plus fringe), 61” long total, 30.5” long when stitched into loop
Gauge: Gauge is not important, as your scarf doesn’t have to fit specific measurements.

Materials

Yarn: Bernat Satin Sport, approximately 300 yards, or 4 oz
Note: If you want to use a standard weight yarn (instead of the light weight yarn described) increase your hook size and plan on using more yarn.
Hook: 5.0 mm H
Miscellaneous: Scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends

Ch = chain
